Our cancellation approach, in plain English.
A clear overview of how we handle cancellations, changes, and refunds, without making you dig for the answer.
1. Retail Day Trips
For our scheduled departures (e.g., theme parks, Christmas markets), the following notice periods apply:
- More than 14 days notice: Full refund (less any non-refundable deposits).
- 7–14 days notice: 50% refund (less any non-refundable deposits).
- Less than 7 days notice: Non-refundable.
- If we cancel a trip: You will receive a full refund or a transfer to another date of your choice.
2. Private Group Hires & Transfers
For bespoke group bookings, airport runs, or cruise transfers:
- More than 21 days notice: Full refund (less any non-refundable deposits).
- 14–21 days notice: 50% refund (less any non-refundable deposits).
- Less than 14 days notice: Non-refundable.
- Partial changes: If you need to change times or pickup points, please contact us. We’ll do our best to accommodate changes without additional fees where possible.
Important Note on Deposits
All refunds are processed less any non-refundable deposits. Deposits are used to secure vehicles, drivers, and third-party bookings (like ferries or attraction tickets) that we cannot recover once committed.
3. How to Cancel
To cancel, please contact us directly via email at hello@kytrixtravel.co.uk. Please include your booking reference and trip details to help us process your request quickly.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel due to illness, local travel restrictions, or other unforeseen events, please contact us. We will review your case fairly and, where possible, offer a refund, credit, or rescheduling option.
5. Refunds
Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days of confirmation. All refunds are issued back to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
Our cancellation policy is designed to balance fairness with the practicalities of running small-group trips. Thank you for trusting Kytrix Travel with your memories.
