Travel that works for everyone.
We're committed to making our trips accessible. Here's what we can accommodate and how to let us know your needs.
About this guide
This is a high-level guide based on our standard fleet. Exact vehicle specifications vary. Before booking, please always check the specifictrip page notes, view our vehicle guide, or contact us if you have specific medical or mobility needs.
Honesty is the best policy
Accessibility isn't one-size-fits-all. We provide clear, honest information so you can make the decision that's right for you.
We’d rather give you honest information about limits and constraints than pretend every trip suits every body.
Boarding and seating should feel calm and respectful. We plan timings and pickup points to avoid the rush.
We think about walking distances, steps, toilets and rests – not just driving time.
Travelling with mobility aids
Our standard fleet consists of step-access minibuses. While we accommodate many aids, we do not always have low-floor access.
Usually travel on your lap, overhead, or in a secure luggage area.
Note: Tell us when booking so the driver knows to allow extra time at steps.
If you can transfer to a seat, the folded chair can often be stored in luggage.
Note: We’ll confirm space and tie-down options based on the vehicle size.
Most standard minibuses have steps. Level boarding spaces are limited.
Note: Look for trips marked 'Accessible Vehicle' or contact us to check lift availability.
Bulky or power-dependent equipment requires bespoke planning.
Note: Contact us well in advance. We may be able to signpost specialist alternatives.
Boarding & Seating
Exact layouts vary, but most Kytrix vehicles feature a front side door with 2–3 steps and handrails.
We plan space for small bags per person. Aisles must remain clear for safety.
For airport transfers or large equipment, please confirm capacity with us before booking.
