Schools & youth group travel that puts safety first
Executive-style minibuses for school trips, youth groups and uniformed organisations – with safeguarding, DVSA standards and ferries all baked into the plan.
For teachers, leaders and organisers who have enough to think about
School and youth trips are brilliant – and a lot to carry. Consent forms, ratios, risk assessments, first aid, behaviour, timetables… Our job is to make the travel bit feel calm, predictable and well-managed.
Kytrix focuses on small groups, typically 8–16 per vehicle. That means better supervision, sensible seat layouts and vehicles that actually suit Island roads and ferry timings.
Why schools & youth groups choose Kytrix
Designed for real-world trips: behaviour management, toilets, ferries, late returns and "what if the weather changes?" all included in the thinking.
Safety, safeguarding & compliance – the non-negotiables
We treat school and youth work seriously. Our approach is built around UK PSV and safeguarding expectations so your SLT, board or trustees can sign off with confidence.
DVSA & operator standards
Daily walkaround checks, maintenance planning and a training-first culture. We work to DVSA best practice and PSV expectations as standard.
DBS & youth-aware drivers
School and youth work requires the right people. Our goal is to use DBS-checked, youth-aware drivers who understand safeguarding basics and professional boundaries.
Risk assessments & paperwork
Clear itineraries, route notes and vehicle details to plug straight into your school or organisation risk assessment templates and approval process.
